Vincent and Lauren met in the summer of 2017. Lauren was a newly assigned rookie cop at the 25th precinct in Harlem, where Vinny had already been stationed for over a year. While Vinny likes to think he was her field training officer, she was slowly gaining the courage to ask him out on their first date at Austin Public Bar. For nearly three years, they kept their romance under wraps. Together, they brought out the best in each other and experienced things they had never encountered before. Lauren loved to travel, while Vinny barely ventured out of the New York- New Jersey area. Together, they traveled to over eight countries and across America. Vincent got Lauren out of her element, introducing her to fishing, skiing, and hiking, transforming a city girl into a country girl.

In eight years, they built their forever. They brought home their adorable, Milo, a 75-pound golden doodle who bears a striking resemblance to Will Ferrell. They bought their dream home, and they got engaged surrounded by their closest friends and family.
